Antiwrinkle injections or “neurotoxins” temporarily block the signal between the muscle and the nerve to smooth the skin so that it appears rejuvenated and youthful.
Once the neurotoxins are in full effect and blocking these signals to the facial muscles, the muscles can no longer contract, therefore resulting in the wrinkles to relax and soften and prevents new wrinkles from forming.

Anti-wrinkle injections on average last 3 to 4 months however this is dose dependent, with effects gradually decreasing over time. Please note, the appropriate treatment interval varies from person to person. The bigger and stronger the muscle, the quicker you will see motion return to the treated area. There are some factors that my effect how long this treatment lasts – such as exercise and metabolism.
Side effects are minimal. The injection site may swell slightly or become red and bruised, the redness may last approximately and hour. It is common for the treated area to feel tight immediately after your antiwrinkle treatments. However, you can expect to resume your normal daily activities almost straight away.
